Bona Fide Surveying is beginning the process of hiring a summer intern for 2024. Approximate dates are from May 30th to August 1st, however we will entertain flexible dates that the right candidate has available. The responsibilities required of a survey intern are primarily field related. This position will expose the intern to a variety of surveys including CDOT road layout, construction staking, ILCs, Boundary Surveys, and ALTA’s. Some overnight travel will be required with per diem and hotel covered by BFS. All applicants must be able to be prompt and be able to work full time. Any overtime will be compensated as such. All applicants must conduct themselves with respect and professionalism.

Intern Responsibilities:

-Physical labor including carrying heavy equipment and supplies

-Assisting the Crew Chief and following all verbal instructions

-Setting nails and hubs and digging for property corners

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with Trimble surveying equipment including Trimble GPS, Total Stations and Data Collectors

-Current student status in a survey program

Compensation will start at $19 hourly depending on prior experience.
