James Combs,
Professional Land Surveyor
James Combs discovered surveying his freshman year at Murray State University and has been committed ever since. After graduating in 2011 with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology, his career took him to many states including Wyoming and New Mexico until he settled in Grand Junction, CO and started Bona Fide Surveying. James and Chelsea started this company wanting to be involved in every step of the process to ensure integrity and quality. James is active in multiple professional societies but most notably is the previous president of the Young Surveyors Network. He intends to continue dedicating his skills and determination in Bona Fide Surveying company and to grow with the Grand Valley.
Chelsea Combs, Owner
Chelsea Combs went to college in Wyoming, Colorado and Kentucky. She has experience in a variety of industries where she developed customer service and marketing skills. When she moved back to Grand Junction, CO and evaluated the market, she saw a hole in the surveying industry that could be filled by a small and quality oriented company; Bona fide Surveying was the answer. She now spends her time running the office here in Grand Junction and raising her sons in a small town environment.

Clint Smith
Clint Smith is the newest addition to the Bona Fide Team as Crew Chief. Clint has experience in multiple facets of the construction field and brings incredible perspective to every project. He has survey experience with the state of California, natural gas development, and aerial mapping. Clint moved here from California and is quickly putting down roots and moving Bona Fide forward.
